Together with 2811 this Young Climathon is happening as the second Young Climathon in South America. 7 schools and 100 students will work on the challenge of how to create greener and more inclusive public spaces in the city (So how to improve meeting spaces, that they are more inclusive (women, children, people with disabilities) and sustainable).
There will be input sessions from experts such as local NGOs on motivation and other topics. Moreover musicians will enhance the experience with inputs on the social and cultural life in Linares. And of course, the city is there and will present the challenge to the students.
We are very happy that this Young Climathon is happening in Chile. Originally supposed to be closely aligned with the COP, we are proud that this event is nevertheless happening.
